Champion offers the HGR6-3K reciprocating air compressor model in the R Series line. This engine driven, splash-lubricated compressor is a two-stage pump. Single-stage compressor/vacuum pumps can be used in laboratories, electronics-manufacturing applications, and in the energy industry for fuel cells and microturbines. Used as a vacuum source, the 0.5-hp unit provides < 1 Torr ultimate vacuum with a pumping speed of 3.5 cfm. In compressor mode, the unit provides 3 cfm at 20 psig, with max open flow of 3.5 cfm. A four-pole ac motor powers the compressor/vacuum pump.
